Traveling can be stressful, but the American Express Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a quiet escape. Located in Terminal 4, this lounge is a great place to unwind before your flight. We use it as much as we can when we travel out of LAX, it can be a bit of a walk, but it's still nice.
The good stuff - Food and Drinks
The lounge offers a variety of snacks and light meals, including fresh fruit, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. Y ou can also enjoy a drink from the bar, with options like cocktails, wine, and beer. Most cocktails are free of cost, unless you want a particlar type of liquor. And it sure beats the prices of the airport resturants.
Chill out - Work and Relax
If you need to get some work done, the lounge has comfortable seating areas and free Wi-Fi. You can also make phone calls from private booths. When you're ready to relax, take a seat in a cozy chair or refresh yourself with a shower. We've never taken a shower at the lounge, and I'm not sure why we would as we travel to the airport already fresh and clean. :-)
How to get in - What's the deal?
To access The Centurion Lounge at LAX, you'll need to have a qualifying American Express card, such as the Platinum Card, Centurion Card, or Business Platinum Card. Simply present your eligible card, a same-day boarding pass, and government-issued ID to the lounge staff.
