This past weekend my wife and I, Carmen, joined efforts with Little Tokyo Sparkle which is an annual event designed to help clean up the Little Tokyo district of Downtown Los Angeles.   There were over 120 participants up early on a Saturday morning to hit the streets to pick up trash, sweep sidewalks, scrape away stickers and work on removing graffiti.    After the cleaning event, which lasted 2 hours, the organizers treated everyone to a lunch and raffle prizes.
